On his senior night, he let one of his teammates that played his position start in his place without thinking twice about it. That's just the kind of kid that he is. Tyree has always been focused on school and on the field since he was a young kid, and all his hard work has paid off. "He is a tremendous leader and sets a wonderful example for all kids to look up to, young and old. He is just an all-around great kid that has al- ways made the right choices no mat- ter what the circumstances." Tom Lemming of Prep Football Re- port: "He's a true center fielder, a guy who you can put back there as a last line of defense. He's got those types of skills. A very solid kid, and a great ball hawk with great ball skills." Why Kinnel Chose Michigan: "I just grew up a Michigan fan. The tradition has always appealed to me, and I just fell in love with the place when I went up there." Head Coach's Comments: "Tyree's a great football player, but more impor- tantly a good kid," Wayne head coach Jay Minton said. "He's always wanted to go to Michigan, and through hard work he has earned the opportunity to achieve that dream."
