We've not heard much from the band for a while, and it's fair to say that the booking has split opinion. Fans are certainly excited for their return, whilst other R & L festivalgoers are despairing the fact that Metallica are sharing the bill with banjos. Following a hipster outbreak these past few years, many people have reached peak Mumford. Rumours have it that the band are working on new material and are possibly taking their sound in a slightly different direction, so we'll just have to wait and see how their set goes down.
