GuEStLiSt REcommENdS: cAtch A FiRE A new weekender is bringing the reggae to Amsterdam Digital Niyabinghi, aka Paul Ibiza, has been a key figure in dance music history since the Ibiza Record days of the early 1990's. Commonly regarded as having been one of the inventors of jungle techno / jungle music, Paul returns under the banner of Digital Niyabinghi to bring his exclusive sounds of Jungle Dub, a 160BPM hybrid of dub and jungle music complete with his own 29 stack "Digital Niyabinghi Jungle Dub Sound System". With recent sets at fabric for Rompa's Reggae Shack and Brixton Electric for Dub4Life, the sound of Jungle Dub and Digital Niyabinghi is set to grow for 2015 and beyond. Chronixx is one of reggae's most talked about artists, and he got his start at Jamnesia, the incubator of Jamaican musical talent run by Billy Wilmot of the Mystic Revealers. 'Herb Must Legalize Now' is an ode to the good stuff, and is full of the classic Mystic Revealers flavour. Following his feature on this track, Chronixx is definitely one to watch.
