HEAVYWEIGHT TEARWAY STABILIZER American Embroidery Supply car- ries heavyweight tearaway 3025, a suitable choice for headwear when only one layer is desired. This 2.5- oz. nonwoven is made using the wet-laid process, so it offers mul- tidirectional stability and density. The company reports this 2.5-oz. tearaway is dense enough to handle high stitch count designs with the same professional-quality results. AES heavyweight cap tearaway can be laundered or dry cleaned, and it tears away cleanly. Lubricants are added to the stabilizer to aid in needle glide. It comes in rolls in a variety of widths and sizes. The 4" width comes in a 200-yard roll and is sold in a 23"width in a 100-yard roll, and a 46" width comes in 100- and 200-yard rolls. www.americanembsupply.com 888-518-6522 LARGE BAG CLAMP The Tajima Large Bag Auto Clamp offered by Hirsch more easily embroiders on large tote bags and luggage. The automatic air- type frame opening enables the operator to change out bags more quickly. One step on the foot pedal opens the clamp to allow for a new bag to be loaded or to remove a finished embroidered bag. Releasing the foot pedal halfway allows the customer to reposition the bag while having a slightly snug grip on it. Releasing the foot pedal completely locks the frame in place. The large bag clamp is 24-3/4" X 10-3/4" and is suitable for large tote bags, duffel bags, luggage, blankets, and more. An air compressor is required to power the air clamp, which is purchased separately. Minimum specs for the air compressor are CFM 3.4, PSI 115 with a tank capacity of 3.2 gallons. It is recommended for use with the TUMX-C1501 single-head embroidery machine because it has no sides, which allows for larger products to be embroidered without getting in the way. www.hic.us 800-394-4426 HOOPING KIT The HoopMaster One-Size Kit from GSG features a variety of products to help decorators speed up the hooping process. Created with simplicity and dura- bility in mind, the HoopMaster tubular hooping sys- tem is designed for ease of use and a short learning curve. The system prepares a smooth sewing area. A grid makes for easy design placement, and fixture arms hold the tubular hoop square with the work surface and directly over the lower ring. There is reportedly no need for tape, clips, or adhesive. Mag- netic flaps hold the backing material in place over the lower ring while the user hoops the garment. There is no hardware to adjust or lose when chang- ing logo location or hoop size. Pins on the fixture automatically square it with the work surface. Simply lift up the fixture and set it down in a new location using the self-aligning pins. The raised rim recesses the hoop ring at the correct depth to hold the garment taut while being embroidered. The One-Size Kit includes the station, FreeStyle mount- ing base, T-Square, Pocket Guide, and a fixture with FreeStyle Arm. The most common first size is the 15 cm. Fixtures for other sizes can be added. www.gogsg.com 800-366-1776
