Without a CTS system, prereg- istration systems usually require punched film or carrier sheets to position the film in alignment and then to the screen. Setups on press go much faster because the CTS holds tight registration and positions the image in the same place. When training in the field, our trainees with no experience set up butt-to-butt registered designs with no microregistration in short order. Training on microregistration is minimal with cus- tomers using a solid CTS registration sys- tem. With the CTS system, multiple color separations are imaged onto separate screens in relationship to each other to save time. ™ Seeing spots?
