Emer Finan MB, DCH, MEd, MRCPI Staff Neonatologist; Director of Neonatal-Perinatal Training Program; Assistant Professor Educational and research interests are in the area of practical skills and neonatal resuscitation training. Currently a member of the Canadian Paediatric Society NRP Executive Committee and Chair of the NRP Education Subcommittee. Amish Jain MBBS, MRCPCH Staff Neonatologist; Assistant Professor Established and leading the targeted neonatal echocardiography program in the NICU since 2011. Holds Clinician- Scientist Program's Doctoral Award and is pursuing a PhD in cardiovascular physiology at the University of Toronto. Current research focuses on right heart function and pulmonary haemodynamics. Shoo Lee MBBS, FRCPC, PhD Paediatrician-in-Chief; Director of MiCare and the CIHR Team in Maternal-Infant Care; Professor; Scientific Director of the CIHR Institute of Human Development, Child and Youth Health Research focuses on improving quality of care, patient outcomes, and health care services delivery. Founded the Canadian Neonatal Network TM , developed the Evidence-based Practice for Improving Quality, and has received many national and international awards for his work. Sandra Leibel MD Staff Neonatologist; Assistant Professor Currently implementing a randomized controlled trial to study the effects of different non-invasive respiratory modalities on the oral feeding skills of preterm babies. Enrolled in the Clinician Scientist Program as a PhD candidate in the Department of Physiology at the University of Toronto studying genetic surfactant protein deficiencies. Adel Mohamed MD, MSc Staff Neonatologist; Assistant Professor Staff neonatologist at Mount Sinai Hospital and faculty member in the Dept. of Paediatrics, University of Toronto, since 2011 and focuses on patient-oriented research. Ann Jefferies MD, MEd, FRCPC Staff Neonatologist; Professor Research focuses on postgraduate medical education. Leads a variety of departmental and international training initiatives, served as Chair of the Fetus and Newborn Committee, Canadian Paediatric Society (2009–2014), and is a member of several educational committees for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Canada. Edmond Kelly MB, BCh, BAC, FRCPC Staff Neonatologist; Clinical Director of Neonatal Follow-up Clinic; Associate Professor Interests include outcomes of high-risk preterm infants, outcomes of infants undergoing new therapies, and also outcomes of all foetuses undergoing foetal therapy. Has been Director of the Mount Sinai Hospital Neonatal Developmental Follow-Up Clinic since 2010. Praveen Kumar MBBS, MD, DM Staff Neonatologist; Visiting Professor On a sabbatical leave from the neonatal unit at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, India.
