April Wilson's three-pointer in
the closing second was off the
mark. Unfortunately for the
snakebit Boilermakers, they
only trailed once in the game
when the Illini took the lead for
good with a three-pointer by
Kylie Simmons with 1:16 left.

Tough Times Linger For Boilermakers
Illini sneak out of Mackey with rare win
Andreona Keys' three-point play gave the
Boilermakers an early 9-2 lead. Purdue led by
as many as 13 in the first half as it dominated
the game early.
Boilermaker All-American Stephanie White, who
led Purdue to the national title 16 years ago,
was honored with her own bobblehead, the first
women's player to have that honor.
When I say
"good,"
you say
"neighbor."
