"A lot of facilities are stuck in a rut," says Greg. "Facilities struggle for different reasons. For example, there are facilities that have done really well with kids' programming but hardly have any advertising revenue." A good management company has experience in every area, including advertising, and can tap advertising revenue sources such as dasher boards and naming rights. The management company should improve the net finances of the facility immediately and, by tapping revenue streams, increase the potential value of the business. A management company increases the total value of a facility by increasing the knowledge and accountability of management and staff, thereby improving customer experience. The facility owner can experience peace of mind and begin to focus on other interests and possibly even plan an exit strategy. Images Courtesy of Vetta Sports
