GOLDANDBLACK EXPRESS • VOLUME 25, EXPRESS 24 • 24 R Columbus North tight end Drew Schoeberl: A Big Ten-type tight end prospect from a physical perspective, Schoeberl may also grow into an offensive line pros- pect. Purdue has been watching him closely for some time now. R Hamilton Southeastern linebacker Collin Miller: Also a po- tential defensive end prospect, but more likely to play linebacker, Mill- er could be on the verge of Purdue joining a list of offers that already includes Illinois and Indiana. R Illinois wide receiver Em- manuel Rugamba: One of the bet- ter receiver prospects in the Mid- west and a top-10 player in Illinois, R u g a m - ba has e a r l y o f f e r s from IU, I l l i n o i s , M i a m i ( O h i o ) and oth- ers. R F l o r i d a l i n e - b a c k e r Trey Sut- ton: The linebacker/edge-rusher from Miami made the long trip to West Lafayette to see a school he says he'd love to be recruited by. South Alabama has offered early but some larger programs are tak- ing a look. R Missouri defensive end Hayden Johnson: An athletic de- fensive line recruit with five early offers who made the trip from Co- lumbia, Mo., as part of a busy win- ter of taking visits. R Tennessee athlete Elijah Pankey: Purdue is looking at the Nashville athlete as a wide receiver while others have shown interest in him and his 4.5 speed as a safety. The Boilermaker staff seems genu- inely interested. R Fort Wayne quarterback Aidan Smith: The Fort Wayne Car- roll QB is one of the better signal- caller prospects in an Indiana 2016 class with a bunch of good ones. He's landed MAC offers early. R Center Grove defensive lineman Cameron Tidd: The 6-foot- 3, 255-pounder from Greenwood comes from a program known for turning out linemen. Tidd holds an early offer from Ball State. R Toledo St. John's offensive lineman Sean Rattay: The offensive guard from Ohio holds an early of - fer from Toledo. R North Carolina kicker/punt- er Keith Duncan: Purdue will recruit a scholarship specialist in this class to replace graduating Paul Griggs and Duncan could be a consider- ation. Targets probably won't be identified until summer camp sea- son, though. j PURDUE 2015 SIGNEES Player Pos Ht Wt Hometown/School Markus Bailey LB 6-1 205 Hilliard, Ohio/Davidson Fred Brown DT 6-2 260 Boutte, La./Hahnville H.S.
