RESIZING KIT FOR TRACKBAR ATTACHMENT
POINTS ON THIRD GENERATION TRUCKS
Does your Third Generation 4 x 4 truck wander all over the
road? Have you had it in the shop, spent thousands on front end
components and it still doesn't track like it should?
There are numerous wear points that can contribute to excess play
in the geometry of the truck's front axle and steering components.
One of the first places you should look is at the truck's track bar.
As you know, replacement of the bushings at both ends of the track
bar is often a simple and cost-effective solution.
However, what do you do if you find that there is wear and/or
elongation of the mounting bracket holes on the frame or axle that
the track bar is attached to?
The only answer is to resize the bold the holes of the mounting
bracket. This new product, the Big O Bushin kit, gives you the
hardware to resize the brackets. Drill the brackets to accept the 1"
diameter Big O Bushin(s) and install the bushings into the brackets.
The special welded nut (the outer arm will catch against the frame)
lets you tighten the standard size bolts through the standard size
track bar bushings.
