  OLYMPIC SPORTS and Rutgers at the Big Five Meet March 14, U‑M finished undefeated in league play and the regular‑ season conference champion … Sophomore Nicole Artz ranked fifth nationally in the all‑around com‑ petition with an average score of 39.478 this season through March 16 … Artz is also sixth on balance beam (9.900), while freshman Bri‑ anna Brown (uneven bars, fifth, 9.915) and senior Sachi Sugiyama (all‑around, seventh, 39.500) also ranked in the top 10 nationally … In its March 4 meet with Utah, Michi‑ gan helped draw 16,019 fans to set an NCAA record for attendance. ROWING Michigan will compete in its first scoring meet of the season when it heads to Princeton, N.J., to battle Princeton and Brown March 28 … The Wolverines have been warming up with non‑scoring training runs, including races against Metro At‑ lantic Athletic Conference champion and 2015 NCAA Championships par‑ ticipant Jacksonville March 2. MEN'S TENNIS (3-8 OVERALL, 0-0 BIG TEN) Michigan continues to struggle in its first season under head coach Adam Steinberg, ranking 64th na‑ tionally after posting a 3‑8 dual‑meet mark through March 16 … Senior Alex Petrone was struggling at the No. 1 singles position, going 1‑7 in eight dual matches and 6‑10 overall this year … Senior Michael Zhu (5‑4) has the only winning record amongst the Wolverines in dual meets. WOMEN'S TENNIS (11-3, 2-0 BIG TEN) No. 13 Michigan is 3‑3 against ranked teams this year, and is rid‑ ing a five‑game winning streak from Feb. 27‑March 15 … The Wolverines, 53‑2 in Big Ten dual matches over the past five years through March 16, are looking for their sixth straight confer‑ ence championship … Junior Ronit Yurovsky ranked 19th nationally in singles play, while senior Emina Betkas was No. 21 … At 19‑7 this year, Betkas has improved to 115‑35 in her career, and now holds the pro‑ gram record for singles wins, ahead of Brooke Bolender (112, 2011‑14) … Senior Sarah Lee sits fourth all time with 110 wins, giving Michigan a pair of 100‑match winners on the same team for the first time ever … Yurovsky leads the Maize and Blue with 21 wins (21‑8) this year. MEN'S TRACK & FIELD Michigan recorded its highest fin‑ ish since 2009 (second) when it placed fifth at the Big Ten Indoor Track & Field Championships Feb. 27‑28 … Redshirt junior Mason Ferlic claimed an individual conference crown with a winning time of 13:58.77 in the 5,000‑meter run, while redshirt sophomore Chris Maye crossed the finish line first in the 60‑meter dash (6.74 seconds) … Maye is U‑M's first 60‑meter dash champion since Adam Harris repeated in 2008 and 2009, while Ferlic earned the Wolver‑ ines' first win in the 5,000 since Lex
