Born in Lowell, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Silverio and Mary (Pestana) Pereira. Mary had lived most of her life in Cumberland. She was a cook for many years at the Grandview Nursing Home in Cumberland. She is survived by her children, Barbara Rozzi of LaPorte, Texas, Paul Rabczak of Cumberland and Nancy O'Halloran of Cumberland; her brother, Antonio "Tony" Pereira; her grandchildren, Kristen Jackson, Casey Burns and Peter O'Halloran, and Lori Rojas and Marianne Hinckley; four great-grandchil- dren; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Rose Jamieson, Joseph, John and Manuel Pereira. Relatives and friends are invited to a service Monday, March 30, 2015, at 12:30 p.m. in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland. (Robitaille) Nelson, 76, of Scott Hill Road, Bellingham, Mass., died Saturday, March 14, 2015, in UMass Medical Center in Worcester with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Robert I. Nelson Sr. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Alton and Anastasia (Angel) Robitaille. Patricia worked as a sales clerk for J.C. Penney for several years. She was a volunteer at the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and worked as an usher. She enjoyed swimming, traveling, and was an avid reader and painter. She also enjoyed her monthly meetings for lunch with friends that she worked with at J.C. Penney. She is survived by her two children, Kimberly and her husband Alex Hannon of Athens, Ga., and Gary W. and his wife Cynthia Nelson of Penfield, N.Y.; two broth- ers, William Robitaille of Bellingham, Mass., and Richard Robitaille of Scituate, R.I.; two sisters, Rita Paglioni of Pascoag, R.I., and Ann Yenzer of Cape May, N.J.; two grandsons, Robert Nelson and Cameron Nelson; one step- grandson, Xander Hannon; and one step-great-grandson, Mason Hannon. She was the mother of the late Robert I. Nelson Jr. and sister of the late Theresa Robitaille. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015, at 10 a.m., in the S.DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Road, Woonsocket. Relatives and friends are invit- ed. Foltz, 80, of Macungie, Pa., formerly of Cumberland, R.I., died Sunday, March 8, 2015, at Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Judith (Drenguba) Foltz, to whom he was married for 52 years. Born in Bristol, Pa., on Jan. 5, 1935, Charles was the son of the late William C. and Nellie E. (Vandegrift) Foltz. He faith- fully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army dur- ing a peacetime era. Charles graduated from West Chester State Teachers College where he played football. He then went on to earn a master of administration degree from Temple University and a mas- ter of biology degree from the College of William and Mary. Charles taught biology at Willingboro (N.J.) High School, where he also served as the head track coach. He taught biology at Springfield High School before moving to Rhode Island, where he pursued a doctorate degree in education at Boston University. He was a professor of general biology and also supervised student teachers at Rhode Island College for 30 years where he eventually became dean of education. In 1993, he developed "A Guide to Laboratory Studies in Introductory Biology," a lab manual that continues to be used by Rhode Island College. Charles was a mem- ber of St. Anne Episcopal Church, Macungie. He was an avid reader and accomplished sailor. Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Judith, daughters Nancy J. Hollis of Clemmons, N.C., and Betsy L. Dobbs and her husband Marc of Orefield, Pa.; grandchildren Daniel and Joan Hollis and Mitchell and Benjamin Dobbs; and prede- ceased by a brother, William H. He was the husband of the late Pauline C. (Leclerc) Ferschke. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Jules and Dora (Saucier) Ferschke. An Army veteran of the Korean conflict, Mr Ferschke worked as an administrator of postal operations for the Woonsocket Post Office, retir- ing in 1985. He had served as sexton for All Saints Parish and enjoyed crossword and soduku puzzles, playing cards, bowling and quahogging. He is survived by four sons, Louis and John Ferschke, both of Woonsocket, Marc Ferschke of Lancaster, N.H., and Paul Ferschke of Cumberland; two daughters, Denise Ferschke of Woonsocket and Carol Lebrun of Blackstone, Mass.; and 10 grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. He was the father of the late Jules J. Ferschke and the brother of the late Norman Ferschke. His funeral will be held Friday, March 27, 2015, at 9 a.m., from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in All Saints Church, 323 Rathbun St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, West Wrentham Road, Cumberland.
