As the sun peeks over the horizon, a group of intrepid photographers gather at Castle Hill in Ipswich. Carrying everything from basic point-and-shoot digital cameras to state-of-the-art professional equip- ment, the dozen or so enthusiasts will stalk perfect early morning light, perhaps flushing out wild Museums in Motion photograph by David Stone in-depth LIVE turkeys or deer while exploring the estate from every angle. The shutterbugs are part of a two-day program, NatureSnap: Immersion Photography Weekend Workshop, which invites partici- pants to interact with The Trustees of Reservations-owned property in whole new ways—even perhaps shooting the breathtaking property from the roof of the Great House. While the estate has no trouble attracting visitors year-round, NatureSnap, now entering its second year, is intended to appeal to a specific type of guest that The Trustees refer to as "skillbuilders," says Pilar Garro, Castle Hill engage- ment manager. "Skillbuilders are definitely on everyone's radar," Garro says of visitors who want to have a hands- on experience and perhaps leave with a new ability or hobby.
