Our COver HAS 'HeArt' Whenever laughter peals at the new playground at Wilmer Hall Children's Home in Mobile, it's thanks to the work of members of the Mobile Division Chapter of the Alabama Power Service Organization (APSO). Last year, several Mobile APSO members prepared and sold barbecue to raise money to refurbish the playground. Here, Theodore Office Manager Sharon Murrill – helping a youngster to slide safely – enjoys the equipment that she and others, such as Mobile APSO President Ryan Allenbach (top of slide), helped make possible. Wilmer Hall's young residents are thrilled with their improved, safer playground, said the home's Executive Director Sally Greene. It was fitting, Greene said, that APSO members at the Pay it Forward Conference bestowed the Mobile Chapter with the 2015 People's Choice award, in honor of this project for Wilmer Hall's children.
