the scrimmage for Team Maize, in
limiting a promising outside rush to
just one yard. The sophomore also
slipped into the backfield twice to
total 1.5 tackles for loss.
In coverage, he was spot on, allow-
ing only one reception while record-
ing one pass broken up on a slant

been an interception and may have
been a pick-six.

Lawrence Marshall: Following the de-
parture of Frank Clark, the question
entering this spring was whether a
legitimate heir would emerge at pass
rusher. With senior Mario Ojemudia
and junior Taco Charlton shelved for
the spring game, and for many of the
practices, with an assortment of in-
juries, the prospect of an edge threat
seemed even more unlikely.
Marshall, however, made his case.
The 6-4, 238-pound Southfield, Mich.,
Redshirt freshman defensive back Jabrill Peppers put his versatility on display in the spring
game, playing nickel back and recording four stops (1.5 for loss).
