Center: Fifth-Year Senior Graham Glasgow 6-6, 303 pounds Glasgow had been suspended for a probation violation, but returned in the middle of spring and proved to be Michigan's best center, by far. He's one of the few with strength enough to handle some of the Wolverines' bigger defensive linemen and he's got experience at center. He becomes one of the more important offensive players after Jack Miller's decision to quit. Backup: Redshirt sophomore Pat Kugler Right Guard: Redshirt junior Kyle Kalis 6-5, 292 pounds Kalis has played with a renewed sense of urgency this spring and been one of the Wolverines' pleasant surprises. He still has work to do in order to real- ize his five-star potential, but he's playing with a purpose and can be one of the Big Ten's best run blockers. Backup: Redshirt junior Blake Bars Right Tackle: Redshirt junior Erik Magnuson 6-6, 296 pounds Magnuson lost his job last year when it seemed he'd be a lock to be one of the anchors on the line, but he's come back strong in the spring. He's still not a blow-you-off-the-ball type, but he's experienced and solid enough that he should be an asset up front. Backup: Redshirt freshman Juwann Bushell-Beatty Junior tight end Jake Butt has topped 200 yards receiving in each of his first two seasons at U-M, and he figures to be even more of a weapon in head coach Jim Harbaugh's offense.
