It's hosted by Nookie and Phil Source, and the likes of Randall, Doc Scott and MC GQ have graced the venue in recent months! Soul in motion, presented by Intabeats head honcho Bailey and Mosus from Need For Mirrors, is held the first and third Wednesday of the month at the Edition Hotel. A host of A-list artists have passed through and the DJ line-up has been a who's who of DnB's finest. In-Session held every Thursday night at UnderSolo in Camden, is one is for all the real junglists as it's brought to you by Kool London's DJ Choppah and crew. Following part one's history lesson, Renegade Hardware prepare to bring you up to date with another huge, heavyweight line-up. On May 2nd, the Renegade crew return to Electric Brixton for the second instalment of RH20, which promises to be yet another unmissable chapter in the label's history. The ridiculous line-up includes Friction, Audio, Loxy b2b Ink, Maztek, Chroma, Mob Tactics, Trilo, Subtension, Ruffhouse, Robyn Chaos, Network, and Lady Su to name just a few. GQ, Eksman, Fokus, Innate, Remidy and Blacka are also on hosting duties. We've got two words for you – be there! alBum oF the month GRooveRideR pResents codename John – the avenGeR Grooverider is back with new EP The Avenger, which is set to drop on May 4th The UK's underground music legend DJ Grooverider makes a return to Metalheadz as his alias Codename John. After many years of being one of the leading DJ's in the world pushing house, hardcore, jungle and DnB for the past 25 years, Groove finally returns to the studio and puts a smackdown on the game! This overdue foray into production, and his return, has been eagerly anticipated by many, fans and industry figures alike, especially since he pulled out a couple of Codename John tracks for his special Rinse FM broadcast way back in 2013. And what better label to do it with – this EP was fought for and won by Metalheadz CEO Goldie, fending off advances from Bryan G, at last years Intanatty Radio show live from Sun & Bass in Sardinia. With track names like 'The Avenger', 'John & Tony', 'Saviour Selector', and 'Secret Teqnique', and with the perfect mix of sample heavy, modern DnB and new school jungle, this EP is sure to turn a few heads.
