The line-up is not released yet, but expect the perfect combination of international headliners, Dutch talent and local heroes. Parc Del Forum is a gigantic concrete platform on the northern part of Barcelona's beautiful coastline and is a match made in heaven for DGTL. Expect innovative stage designs and art installations from around the world, as well as sustainable innovation through the DGTL Revolution project – this year's theme is Plastic Waste. The Amsterdam based festival will travel to Barcelona on August 14th and 15th Hertfordshire-based duo Maribou State have been quietly building up a solid fanbase over the past three years. Their soft, downbeat, multilayered indie-house has always been popular amongst bloggers, critics, and DJs, but now that they've been snapped up by Counter (Ninja Tune's sub-label), they look set to see their success skyrocket. Debut album Portraits is due out this summer, and the first single to be teased has been a runaway success; 'Rituals' has had over 300,000 plays on SoundCloud in just two weeks, and dance music legend Sasha is a fan, dropping the edit to great effect at LEAF. They've even developed a new live show, similar to other Counter success story Odesza. We dropped by their very first live performance at Oslo, Hackney, and found a completely back-to-back packed dance floor filled with anticipation. Not only did they have the synth pads, but both Liam and Chris played the old school guitar and keyboard, and were accompanied by a drummer. Even more interestingly, they brought a brilliant female vocalist onto the stage to debut some new tracks from the upcoming album; 'Tongue', 'Wallflower' and 'Steal' were all real standouts with the potential to become very commercially successful thanks to Holly Walker's input. We can't wait to hear the full finished album! our PLaYLisT Su Casa Darius Syrossian Gosh Jamie xx Universal Everything Leftfield Give Me A Reason ft.
