4 Issue 74 / 2015 GUESTLIST guestlist.net Newsflash MadoNNa Makes out with drake oN stage Drake brought out Madonna during his Coachella set and got more than he bargained for Madge came out for his track 'Madonna', and of course, there was an incident. She pulled him into a big old kiss and he was not into it AT ALL, wiping his mouth with an expression of pure disgust after he was released. Now we just have to sit back and let the memes roll in. "selfie sticks/ Narsisstics" baNNed froM us festivals Coachella and Lollapalooza are the latest music festivals to ban the selfie aids The trend of banning selfie sticks, or "wands of narcissism" as Aussie festival Soundwave call them, has reached the US, with two major festivals banning them. The sticks are also prohibited at the O2 Arena and SSE Wembley Arena in the UK. So if you're heading across the pond for a festival and you absolutely have to take selfies, just use your arm. kaNye west headliNiNg glasto Yeezy has been given the top slot on the Saturday night but not everyone is down In fact, some festivalgoers are so unhappy with the news that a petition for Ye's removal has been signed by over 100,000 people. But in the spirit of democracy, a counter petition, calling for Kanye to be the ONLY act performing at Glasto has racked up over 80,000 names. We can't wait to see what he pulls out of the bag. the first church of caNNabis is officially a religioN Indiana Governor Mike Pence recently passed a controversial new law that allows businesses in the state the right to refuse service to people under the guise of religious freedom. Although the language in the bill has since been clarified, after it became apparent that it could be used as a tool to discriminate, particularly against LGBT people, it's still a pretty bullshit idea. However, enterprising Indiana resident Bill Levin has used the new law to excellent effect by setting up the First Church of Cannabis. The church is based on "love and understanding with compassion for all", perfectly encapsulated by their first commandment "Don't be an asshole." The church won't buy or sell weed but will grow hemp, and cannabis is, of course, the sacrament. Although both medical and recreational use of marijuana is illegal in Indiana, because the church celebrates cannabis in a religious way, it could be protected under the religious freedom law. Levin is raising money to secure a property and donations to the church currently sit at over $8000. Comedy Central Roasts are always popular, but none have been anticipated quite like that of Justin Bieber. Given his recent antics, it's not surprising that a whole host of comedians and celebrities couldn't wait to rip into the pop star. Kevin Hart, Will Ferrell as Ron Burgundy, Jeff Ross, Natasha Leggero, Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, Shaquille O'Neal and bizzarely Martha Stewart were just some of the famous faces to join in the party. We can't list all the jokes, but these zingers from Shaq "Last year you were ranked the fifth most hated person of all time. Kim Jong-un didn't score that low and he uses your music to fucking torture people" and Jeff Ross, "Seth Rogen thinks you're a conceited piece of shit, and he hangs out with James Franco", give you a pretty good idea of the evening. He was a good sport, taking the jokes in his stride, although given all the stupid shit he's done he kinda had to. Maybe this marks a new beginning for the Biebs?
