u Check In With Ringside Chats
What's it like for Clark Montgomery to see the stars and
stripes at the top of the leaderboard in a CIC*** field of 115
entries on foreign soil? How'd it feel for Laura Graves to
finally head down centerline again for the first time since the
Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games nearly seven months
prior? We keep you up-to-date with these top riders and
many more in our timely and topical Ringside Chat series at

u True Confessions Of Horse People
The reader comments are as good as the content in this
terrific compilation of confessions by horsemen and women
What's Hot On The Web
just like you. "Once or twice
a year while my non-horsey
significant other is away, I will
clean out my grooming box,
clean the brushes—and then
stick them in the dishwasher
and put it on a sani-cycle,"
offers reader Stush Sad-
owski. "I once five-second-
ruled a peanut butter cup off
the floor of my trailer. And it didn't hit a particularly clean patch,
either. But it was the end of a very long show day and, well,
chocolate," admits Jess Hayworth. And, "When I'm annoyed with
my husband, I have been known to run saddle pads or a stable
sheet through the washing machine and then do a load of his
laundry," writes Annette Peterfy. Read them all and add your
own at coth.com/article/five-second-rules-sleeping-breeches-

u Take A Trip Behind The Stall Door
One gets a carrot for every fence he jumps in competition.
Another can't travel without her disturbing "dead baby" doll.

unsuspecting bystander. You may think you know top sport
horses like Flexible, Veronica and My Lady from their perfor-
mances in the ring, but we're going back to the barns with these
stars and many more to
learn all their delightful
quirks in Behind The
Stall Door, our wildly
popular web series.
