COMMITMENT PROFILE
tight end‑base look just because of
him.
"He's the type of talent that you
can center your offense around. He's
very athletic. He has really soft hands
and catches the ball well. He can re‑
ally accelerate after he catches it. I
think that will separate him from a
lot of tight ends. Once he catches it
he can really run."
Dunaway himself is confident in
what he'll be able to do over the next
two years of his high school career.
"I think I can be a major part of
the team," he said. "We are obvi‑
ously losing some great talent. Last
year was a senior‑led team, and now
those guys are going to be gone. Next
season I'm going to have to step up
and lead the team along with our
great captains on the team. I'm going
to have to step up at tight end and
probably play some defensive end,
too."
With his commitment out of the
way and nothing but work and goals
on the field to focus on, Dunaway
does plan to put on the recruiting hat
a little bit and bring talent with him
to Ann Arbor.
"I definitely will be a recruiter," he
said. "I talked about that with Coach
Harbaugh after I committed. He said
that they were definitely looking for
some guys in Michigan. I plan to do
anything I can to help get them here.
"I am going to try to take charge
a little bit and help some people to
make a decision for Michigan. I'm
excited to help build a class to get
Michigan back on top."
