8 DIRT TOYS | JULY 2015 INDUSTRY DIRT Nebraska-based Exmark has expanded its 2015 product line to include two side-by-side utility vehicles. The new models de- liver the productivity professionals demand with switch-on-the- fly 2WD or 4WD, and a customizable two-in-one tilting cargo box that transforms from box to flatbed in minutes. Ideal for a wide variety of work or recreation activities, including hauling, pulling, plowing, riding or playing, the new Exmark 500S and 700S utility vehicles feature a dual-range automatic transmission. The Continuously Variable Transmis- sion (CVT) design responds to inputs including vehicle speed, load and engine rpm in real time to deliver optimal accelera- tion and fuel efficiency. The 700S adds an electric locking front differential for maximum traction and pulling power, regardless of conditions. The 700S has a total payload capacity of 1,500 lbs. (1,100 lbs. for the 500S). The transformable design of the tilting rear cargo box can be converted to a flatbed in minutes for en- hanced versatility. Integrated front and rear two-inch receivers give users the ability to hook up trailers or attachments at either end of the machine. Both Exmark utility vehicles feature powerful liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engines with Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI). With the ability to optimize the fuel/air mixture for the conditions, in real time, EFI increases fuel efficiency and delivers excellent throttle response combined with reduced emissions. The 700S utilizes a robust 695cc single overhead cam (SOHC) engine, while the 500S relies on a powerful 443cc SOHC powerplant. The machines feature four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes and dual A-arm front and rear suspension with 10 inches of travel and 10 inches of ground clearance. The fully-independent suspension provides exceptional ground clearance, allowing the Exmark utility vehicles to traverse virtually any terrain with confidence. The 700S also features upgraded alloy wheels. For more information, visit Exmark.com. EXMARK EXPANDS LINE WITH TWO NEW UTILITY VEHICLES 500S, 700S MODELS DELIVER PERFORMANCE AND VERSATILITY FOR WORK AND PLAY This spring Polaris Industries introduced the Sportsman 110 EFI and Outlaw 110 EFI youth models, which were available in dealerships in May. The Sportsman and Outlaw 110 EFI youth models have replaced the current Sportsman and Outlaw 90 models and include an upgraded 110cc engine for improved off-road performance and Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) for easier cold starting, reduced maintenance and improved run and idle quality. Both models will be classified as Y-10+ for riders 10 years old and older with adult supervision. The vehicles' speed is limited to less than 15 mph/24.1 kph as delivered and the speed control system allows adults to increase the speed to a maximum of up to 29 mph/47 kph. The Sportsman 110 EFI will be available in Sage Green while the Outlaw 110 EFI in Voodoo Blue. The Sportsman and Outlaw 110 EFI will continue to offer a wide variety of safety features such as an adjustable throt- tle limiter to enable adults to set a maximum speed control limit, daytime running lights to increase daytime visibility, full floorboards and heat shields. Other vehicle features include an electric start, automatic transmission, 4-stroke engine and long travel suspension. Similar to all other Polaris youth models purchased from an authorized dealer, the Sportsman and Outlaw 110 EFI also come with a high visibility whip flag and safety video. All Polaris youth vehicles also come with a DOT-approved helmet (two for the RZR 170 EFI) to help teach kids the importance of wearing the proper safety gear.
