We have a balance and variety of representation from various firm sizes, locations and roles, bringing a mix of views, insights and experience to represent ILTA's vast array of almost 15,000 member participants. We have an incredible slate of initiatives on the horizon, all of which are focused on continuing to bring our membership value and helping each of you and your firms or law departments operate effectively in the present while preparing strategically for the future. A preview of the new and continued initiatives on our horizon includes: Focusing on our international growth plans, there will A be extended offerings in our existing (growing) conference portfolio, including tweaks to our August conference based on strategic organizational plans and member feedback; expansion of our U.K. INSIGHT event to a multi-track, multiday event; and an Asia conference on the horizon for 2013. I'm joined by six esteemed colleagues to help move the organization through the execution phase Further integration and collaborative work with our vendors to develop greater opportunities for product development input and exchange of value-add member services. Updating and enhancing ILTA's member-facing technology, including better ways to contribute to, search through and benefit from the extensive knowledge base of our membership. Expanded partnering with numerous industry organizations to join forces, resources and knowledge to add greater value for all involved. We'll be working more extensively with our Law Department Peer Group, law schools, paralegals and librarians; and we'll work on some targeted initiatives to include security standards and quality control. The Board looks forward to serving in the years ahead, and we thank you for the opportunity to continue to learn from and collaborate with you. Best wishes for the holiday season and the year ahead!
