With more product than ever for judges to consider, the award winners were jumping with joy when they were honored with their award. "This is so exciting!" exclaimed Courtney Bartik from Claire Magnolia. Bartik said Claire Magnolia won the award for Best New Product in the All Things Wedding category, and she was almost speechless with glee. "We're launching our wedding line, and this is our first time at the show," she said. Of course, Bartik wasn't the only happily surprised award winner. New to the product categories for this year's Best New Product Awards was "Seasonal Greats," awarded to Tiny Forest. "I thought I was in trouble," said Elijah Wyman, Tiny Forest's owner. "All of a sudden there were a bunch of people and a security guard — it was a surprise," he said laughingly. Kelly Bristol, sales director of NSS, said submissions were higher than ever. "We were overwhelmed by the number of entrants this year with nearly 600 products submitted," Bristol said. "I know the judges enjoyed looking at all the finalists, but I imagine it was a tough job this year."
