Weddle Industries manufactures 300M Torsional Input Shafts for VW Type 1 and Type 2 transaxles that
reduce shock loading. The diameters and fillets have been carefully designed to maximize torsional twist
without sacrificing strength. These heavy-duty racing input shafts are designed to be more effective
at dampening shock loads than stock VW input shafts, and work to significantly reduce stresses in the
transmission and drivetrain. According to Weddle Industries, reducing stresses on the drivetrain can
make a huge difference in the longevity of components, especially in high performance applications.
Each shaft is manufactured from custom-spec ultra high quality 300M steel, through-hardened, and
