n racing, it's just as important to stop
quickly as it is to go fast. So for many
racing teams, having the best brake
systems that are developed for their
vehicle and driving style, is one of the
most important factors in building and
prepping a fast vehicle. While SCORE's
rules on brakes simply state that they need to
be in safe working condition and have enough
force to "lock-up" all four wheels, it leaves
a lot of room for brake manufacturers to
incorporate new technologies and test them
out in the extreme conditions of Baja.
