THE WOLVERINE 2015 FOOTBALL PREVIEW ■ 89 OFFENSIVE LINE PLAYER BIOS POSITION COACH Tim Drevno, in his first season with the Wolverines, is entering his 25th year as a football coach. He is Michi- gan's new offensive coordinator and offensive line coach, coming to Ann Arbor after one year as USC's running game coordina- tor/offensive line coach. Previously, Drevno worked with head coach Jim Harbaugh at the University of San Diego (2003-06) and Stanford (2007- 10), and with the San Francisco 49ers (2011-13). Drevno served as offensive line coach under Harbaugh for the 49ers when they won the NFC West two seasons. San Francisco played in the NFC Championship Game each of his three seasons and participated in Super Bowl XLVII. He coached a pair of Pro Bowl players in 2013 — Joe Staley and Mike Iupati — and all five of his offensive linemen were selected to the Pro Bowl in 2012. At Stanford, Drevno coached tight ends for the first two seasons and then the offensive line for two years. The Cardinal offensive line was second in the nation in fewest sacks allowed in back-to-back seasons and helped pave the way for a ground game that set the school rushing yardage mark in 2009. Drevno was Harbaugh's offensive coordinator and of- fensive line coach at San Diego when the Toreros won the Pioneer League title in consecutive seasons (2005- 06) and earned NCAA Division I-AA Mid-Major national championships both years. The offense led the nation in total offense twice and finished third and ninth during his other two seasons. RETURNING PLAYERS BLAKE BARS • OL R-Jr • Nashville, Tenn.
