Details on the record are few and far between, but recently she's been using the hashtag #ConversationsInACafe on Twitter, leading to speculation that this will appear as a title in some form. As well as dropping some new tunes, Jackson is making history, becoming the first African-American female recording artist to form her own label. We can't wait to see who else she brings on board. Seven years since her last album Discipline, Janet's got some new music up her sleeve LiL' Kim The iconic boss diva entered the game in 1996 and was not going to leave until she had proven that females in hip-hop could be as bad as the men! Her debut album Hard Core was certified double platinum and produced three number 1 singles in a row, a record for a female MC. Her "I don't give a fuck" attitude won attention from hip-hop heads, and she brought hit after hit using raunchy, biting lyrics. Lil' Kim rapped about her sexual prowess with an attitude and swagger that showed that she was the one in charge of her sexuality and nobody else. Being the only female in Junior M.A.F.I.A. says a lot about Lil' Kim. She was undeniably one of the most skilled artists and a key part of the group's successful debut single 'Players Anthem', and later on showcased her talent on the group's debut album Conspiracy. Notorious B.I.G became an important figure in Lil' Kim's life, not only did he introduce her to the industry but also became a mentor for her. After releasing her mix tape Black Friday in 2009 Lil' Kim took a step back from the music scene until the realise of the sequel to her debut album Hard Core, named with the same title in 2014. The mixtape has 12 original tracks, and features guest appearances from the likes of French Montana, Yo Gotti, Jadakiss, Cassidy, and more. In May 2015 the sassy Brooklyn queen announced that she's returning to the rap game and launching a reality television show. The show will be called 'The Queen Bee' and will follow her as she plots her comeback all while raising her 1-year old daughter, Royal Reign. The network and air date are yet to be announced. But for all those who don't know, Mr Mini introduces himself on his new track 'Hi, I'm Mr Mini', spitting lyrics over a bouncing electro- funk beat. Both funny and serious, this is one of those tracks that will drop out of speakers and bounce around your head.
