Founded by local residents Bill Fisher and Chris Webb, the brewery quickly established itself among craft drink- ers by being a keg or can (no bottles) brand that delivered on fantastic flavor. photographs by, left to right, Robert Boyd and Lauren Poussard Fast favorites included the Plum Island Belgian White, Green Head IPA, and Newburyport Pale Ale, the latter of which is now served on Delta Northeast shuttle flights. A focus on music also sets them apart; the founders both play in an eight-piece funk band, and they made sure to include a stage in the brewery's construction so they could host like- minded musicians. It's now a destination for beer and music lovers. (There are jam sessions every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 5 p.m.) Can't make it to the brewery? No problem.
