Wilkerson is the progeny of some wonderful midwestern stock:
a cattleman and a school teacher who compelled him to 'leave
the farm' and move into tech. Out of Missouri, through Chicago
and into Silicon Valley—Wilkerson now finds himself leading a
team of brilliant engineers as Director of Ads and Analytics En-
gineering at TuneIn—helping construct the data narrative for an
audience of 50 million MAUs. Prior to TuneIn, Wilkerson held the
title of Director of Software Development at Cars.com.
Wilkerson likes to dabble just about anywhere in an engineering
stack but finds that his favorite work is that of engineering advo-
cate—creating a place for engineers to thrive.
