SXSW V2Venture received over 200 applications from startups around the world. It was
challenging to select the top fives startups for each category, so we have added three
alternate companies for each category. In the case a finalist is unable to attend the event,
an alternate will be moved up to fill that open spot. All alternates will also have an oppor-
tunity to present an elevator pitch to our judges, emcees and live audience.
