In addition this class must use a straight axle front and rear end. Tire size is also limited to 37-inches in diameter. Chassis requirements for the Limited Class are restricted to stock frame rails, but they can be replaced with a minimum of 1.5-inch x 3-inch .120 wall tubing. But in a race that had 30 other competitors in the class, and in which seven of them posted a DNF, Currie proved he can drive fast and manage his vehicle to the end of the race. "Finishing was my most memorable moment of this experience," says Casey. "Being at the finish line was something I won't soon forget. But I also had a great time pre-running the course. Currie's plan to get his family back involved with SCORE racing seemed to work. The Currie's plan on building another Jeep buggy that will be better suited for the 2015 SCORE Baja 1000, and can still be used for his Ultra 4 racing too. "We still want to compete against the Unlimited Trophy Trucks at the Baja 1000," says Currie. "So we're going to build the Jeep with an IFS suspension that would give us four-wheel drive on the high- speed desert courses and still allow us to compete in races like King Of The Hammers with the same vehicle. This whole experience was definitely worth going to Baja and I think we've opened the doors for more opportunities to bring in new people to participate in this sport." SJ 040 SCORE JOURNAL
