SCORE NEWS SCORE AWARDED ITS FIRST TELLY AWARDS SCORE International was awarded its first Telly Awards for the broadcast coverage of the 2014 SCORE Baja 500 and the 2014 SCORE Baja 1000 races. Produced by Brentwood Communications International, Inc.(BCII) for CBS Sports Network, the awards were given to SCORE for its excellence in the production of these two events which included race coverage, and the personal stories of drivers and teams leading up to the races. "It's an honor to see SCORE receive awards to cover a sport that I'm passionate about," says Bud Brutsman, CEO of BCII. "SCORE races are the most difficult to cover and potentially a logistical nightmare, but because we're racers ourselves, our coverage comes from a level of involvement in the sport. We've been fortunate that our producers and team members know the drivers and the courses which allow us to logistically cover the event to capture it in a way no one else can." At the Media Press Conference for the 47th Annual 2015 SCORE Baja 500 race, Brutsman presented the Telly awards to SCORE President and CEO Roger Norman, and Elise Norman, SCORE Vice President. "These television programs were among thousands of submissions," said Norman. "Bravo to BCII and everyone at SCORE for a job well done!" The rest of the 2015 SCORE International race events will continue to be televised on the CBS Sports Network. Check your local listings for times and airdates.
