BRYCE MENZIES PICKS UP PENNZOIL SYNTHETIC MOTOR OIL Menzies Motorsports announced that Pennzoil is now the team's official supplier of lubricants and motor oil. "Off-road racing is the ultimate lifestyle competition, rich in automotive history and tradition, and Menzies Motorsports is one of the most respected and entertaining teams in the sport," said Doug Kooyman, Pennzoil Global Brand Director. The Menzies team participated in the 47th Bud Light SCORE Baja 500 with Pennzoil Platinum® Euro 5W-40 Full Synthetic motor oil coursing through the engine of the #70 Trophy Truck. Although Menzies posted a DNF, the team is still excited about Pennzoil's sponsorship and will look to the team's next race for a victory. "It was an easy decision to make the switch to Pennzoil, knowing their dedication to automotive performance and passion for pushing the limit," said Bryce Menzies, co-founder and driver for Menzies Motorsports. Based out of Las Vegas, Nevada, Menzies Motorsports has quickly become one of the most successful and competitive motorsports teams. At age 27, Bryce Menzies has recorded dozens of wins and championships, that include 3 Baja 500 Overall wins, plus many others. "This is a strong collaboration. We are thrilled to have Bryce Menzies as a stand-up ambassador to the brand and racing with Pennzoil Platinum Euro Full Synthetic motor oil under the hood," continued Kooyman. According to Menzies and Kooyman, the relationship will extend from the garage and onsite at races, to social media and key automotive events. PWR GROUP ACQUIRES C&R RACING INC. The PWR Group, a leading supplier of motorsports cooling systems based in Queensland, Australia, announced it has purchased C&R Racing Inc. "We have watched PWR rapidly grow into the premier performance cooling system manufacturing company in the world," said C&R owner Chris Paulsen. "Their world- class engineering and incredible flexibility is unlike any company we've ever done business with. Joining our two companies will create the most powerful, high-performance cooling system company in the world." According to PWR co-owner Kess Weel, the company will utilize C&R's brand for its U.S.A. operations while retaining the PWR brand throughout the rest of the world. "We see this acquisition as bringing together two like-minded, dominant businesses to create a much larger footprint in the U.S.A.," says Weel. "The opportunities available to the combine PWR/C&R group in the U.S.A. are significant." Paulsen will become president of the rebranded C&R Racing Inc. and the company will continue to produce leading industry cooling systems for all professional motorsports categories, as well as its high- performance aftermarket cooling systems.
