7 Issue 77 / 2015 travel guestlist.net 21 If all of that wasn't enough, Malta is becoming quite the place to party, hosting festivals of all kinds throughout the year – Annie Mac held her inaugural Lost & Found Festival on the sunny isle back in May, Sunscape took over the shores of Ramla Bay earlier this month, and MTV have held their free flagship summer event, 'Isle Of MTV', on the island for years. Don't worry if you missed these ones, because there's still a ton of cool festivals coming up in Malta this summer. Malta Street Art Festival, Valletta From 24th – 26th July, the Maltese capital is transformed into a street art mecca. Some of the best artists in the world will be attending including Seapuppy, Smug, Leon Keer, Cooker, Zag & Sia, and Mr Dheo to name but a few. In celebration of Valletta's history, this year's theme is knights and will include everything from a literal battlefield to themed artwork and light projections. So if you're into your street art, Valletta is the place to be this summer. The Farsons Great Beer Festival, Ta'Qali National Park Malta's national park plays host to a celebration of the good stuff! The best in local and international beers will be showcased from 24th July – 2nd August, and as well as the delicious drinks, two music stages will ensure that the crowd is well entertained. The line- up contains a fine mix of local and international musicians, including the likes of Amber, Corazon, Airport Impressions, Red Electrick, The New Victorians, Fakawi, Norm Rejection, Fuzzhoneys, and Lucy's Last. The festival has been annually since 1981 and entry is free, so if you're in the area and feeling thirsty, you'd do well to swing by. Creamfields, MFCC Grounds Having established themselves as one of the leading brands across the global electronic music scene, on August 14th Cream once again descend on the sun-soaked island of Malta. With an eclectic array of musical flavours, ranging from big room to the darker realms of techno, Creamfields has delivered once again with two eye catching headliners - UK trio Above & Beyond and Swedish legend Steve Angello. Bringing the harder, rolling techno to the MFCC Grounds in Ta Qali is Drumcode's main man Adam Beyer, and Last Night On Earth boss Sasha, German duo Pan-Pot and Spinning Deep artist Redondo also join the ranks. Pushing the local talent, Cream have selected a number of Maltese artists to join the bill, including Carl Bee, ATFC, Daniel Blade, Luc Adams, Tenishia and Ziggy. The stage is set for what is sure to be a powerful day of premium music.
