USINDOOR ASSOCIATION UPDATE A NEW LOOK T here need be no proclamation. It's obvious. USIndoor has a new look, encompassing its logo, Website, GOAL Indoor, and more! We are coordinating the kick off of our new duds with this issue – just in time for USIndoor's Facility Operators' Conference, September 5-7, at the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort, Golf & Spa. As introduced on page 4, this move toward consistency is undertaken with an eye toward demonstrating to our members and to the outside world that USIndoor is prepared to lead by example. Accordingly, we have committed to developing and supporting valuable programs that we believe will promote the game and the business of indoor soccer. Enhancing our appearance exhibits that fact. 2003 National Conference USIndoor's national conference is ever a good opportunity to reflect on the Association's growth and progress over the past year. During this time, USIndoor continued to solidify core programming as to Insurance (including participant accident coverage), facility resources, GOAL Indoormagazine, USIndoor.com, Official Rules, and Referee Certification. Indeed, USIndoor's facility and corporate membership grew by over 50%. In addition, USIndoor added programming, including the USIndoor Network and vending machines. Unfortunately, our desire to forge a relationship with an employment management service has not yet panned out. Rather, we will be introducing at the Conference new programs, including printing services (supported by the same professional design team that created USIndoor's new branding), wholesale merchandising (see ad, page 3), player cards, and credit card transactions. Attendees may also expect a report from USIndoor's Director of Marketing on the USIndoor Network. Last year we had almost 80 indoor soccer facilities represented at USIndoor's National Conference at Family First Sports Park in Erie, PA. This year, we expect the number to top 100. For those not yet registered, there is still time. For more information and information about registration, please visit www.usindoor.com. See you in Las Vegas!
