COMMITMENT PROFILE Given Jim Harbaugh's reputa- tion as a tight end guru — whether at Stanford, where every tight end he recruited ended up playing in the NFL, or with the San Francisco 49ers, where Vernon Davis was one of the NFL's best — earning an offer from him is significant for any high schooler who plays the position. That's especially true for Dud- ley (Mass.) Shepherd Hill Regional standout Sean McKeon. He's ranked as just a two-star prospect and the third-best player in Massachusetts for the 2016 class. He didn't have much production as a junior, notch- ing just 19 catches for 354 yards and three touchdowns (18.6 yards per grab), and many schools hadn't seen enough from him to grant a tender. That doesn't apply to Harbaugh, however. His son, U-M tight ends coach Jay Harbaugh, saw plenty from the 6-4, 230-pounder to offer before summer camp season even began. Within a month of the offer, McKeon headed to campus in Ann Arbor for the Wolverines' summer camp, and the U-M staff again liked what they saw. The feeling was mutual, and the pass-catcher pulled the trigger before leaving town. " I definitely knew after my visit on Saturday [prior to the camp] that it was a good fit for me and that I wanted to commit," McKeon said.
