too is the evolution of the Association to adapt to its members and adopt a new direction to better meet their needs.
You may have already seen our 2012 promotion, "Raise Your Game in Indy." This is our new brand message for the changes we are planning for the Facility Operators Conference in Indianapolis.
The addition of a new track of professional development sessions at next year's conference is designed for staff of our facility members. Never before have our sessions been so targeted and timely. With the addition of this new track, our educational sessions will better address the needs of all levels of membership.
If you've attended the Conference before, you know that we have traditionally
hosted educational tracks for Existing Operators and Startups. While there will be minor changes to the startup sessions, there will be an evolution within the existing operators track. This track will provide curriculum for staff, owners and managers. As an association, we realize one solution may not fit everyone. The refinement of these tracks and the addition of entirely new sessions will better serve our members.
The educational offerings associated with the Conference are not the only changes. We have developed a new, streamlined format for our State of the Industry Breakfast, changing the way information is received by attendees and offering a Keynote Speaker (yet to be announced.) The social event at the close of the Conference, which has required an additional fee in the past, will now be complimentary, providing a great networking opportunity for everyone. We are excited about these changes taking place in response to your needs and desires. After all, you are our driving force. You have spoken and we have listened and adapted to better serve you!
