Correspondence CHOCOLATE PLUS Northshore Magazine! We are thrilled With the photos and cov- erage in '' 'Marblehead Mints raises the bar on Mints as We knoW theM.' " Dark Horse CHoColates, via TwiTTer REV_NSJF12_Cover.indd 1 11/28/11 2:16:01 PM Second Helping I am grateful to have Leslie ["Closet Case," Jan./Feb. 2012] in town at Francie's boutique. I love shopping there. There are days when I look at myself in the mirror and say, "Wow, at least half of my ensemble came from Francie's!" Michelle, via nshoremag.com Town Spirit My wife and I have lived in Georgetown ["Small Wonder," Jan./Feb. 2012] for going on 33 years now… We've seen this little quaint New England, historically significant town double in population and become a diverse community. We are glad to have an appeal to a wide range of people, which ensures we will remain an economically diverse town. We raised our three children, who attended the Georgetown schools K through high school graduation. When we moved to town, our second child was one week old. We moved him into town in a laundry 8 nshoremag.com March/April 2012 basket filled with clean clothes. ["Small Wonder" was a] great article for a great town. Come on by and visit. Make a stop at Theo's for breakfast or lunch. Doug, via nshoremag.com Hip Tips [I] Recently took a trip to NYC and remembered Aricia's packing pointers ["Style File,"Jan./Feb. 2012], and using the scarf as a pillow really does work. I'm definitely taking all these pointers. Jerany, via nshoremag.com This is fabulous! Aricia most definitely gives her all to make women feel amazing in their everyday attire. Andie, via nshoremag.com Sweet Sentiments We're green with happiness over our Marblehead Mint coverage in Northshore [magazine], thanks! Dark Horse Chocolates, via Twitter Inn Season We love your latest issue but were a little disappointed that you did not add some of the wonderful [inns] to stay at in (the North Shore) our area ["Winter Wander- lust," Jan./Feb. 2012]. The Country Garden Inn & Spa is located between Ipswich and Newbury- port in Rowley and there is a lot to do and see in the area, from bird watching and antiquing to dining and beach walking. Also, Ipswich has the most antique homes and we can provide a map if one wishes to follow the trail. Country Garden has many suites which feature fireplaces, Jacuzzis, and flat-screen televisions. Also, the property is surround- ed by conservation land so, it is quiet and peaceful yet convenient. Spa services are also offered (Swedish or deep tissue mas- sages and hot stone therapy). So, if your readers are looking for a "close to home" get away, check out the Inn at countrygardeninnandspa.com. Suzanne Audette, via e-mail Editor response: Thanks for the great sug- gestions, Suzanne. We wish we had enough space in the magazine to devote to all of the wonderful lodging options in our region. We compiled some of our own favorites for our Winter Wanderlust feature, but we certainly encourage our readers to research the many options out there to find the perfect fit. Holidaze First, I have to tell you how festive, beau- tiful and informative the Holiday issue is! In addition to being an advertiser, I am an avid reader, and I loved the variety of articles, in particular the ones about Stuart Weitzman (I had no idea he was from this area), Todd Berberian (my new optician), and Frank McClelland (whose recipe for Bananas Foster I will be using on Christmas Eve). All were so well writ- ten and interesting! Susan Howell, via e-mail $ share your thoughts on this issue of northshore nshore mag.com WEDDING PLANNERS
