03 SCORE JOURNAL I n this issue we celebrate the life of SCORE International's Mexican Liaison, Oscar Ramos, who recently lost his battle with cancer. Oscar was an enormous positive influence on the development of SCORE International for the past 20 years and was a dear friend to all the SCORE community. For those who were fortunate to know Oscar, this issue will be a reflection of what you have experienced. If you were not as fortunate to know Oscar, we offer this glimpse into his personality and work ethic and his commitment to his family but also the SCORE International community. SCORE News – The SCORE Journal continues to break all issue records from our monthly reader base growth and the engagement time with the digital magazine. Much of the recent continued surge in the SCORE Journal's extreme growth has come through the introduction of the new SCORE web site, score-international.com. The new site offers information updates, SCORE Journal editorial features, tech and interviews along with the high priority Race Information that is so important for our racer base. Utilization of the SCORE web series, from our social media platforms, to the editorial integration in the SCORE Journal, has proven to be one of the main unique items that you enjoy viewing and coming back to. ISSUE Happenings Dirty Dozen – In recognition of the top standout drivers under 30 that have made the newest impact in the 2015 SCORE International World Desert Championship, we present this year's Dirty Dozen. While there are many deserving drivers that could considered, these individuals made the cut for this year's spotlight. Make sure to see the great video produced for this recognition for more insight into this year's Dirty Dozen's contributions to SCORE racing. The Fortin Racing Feature – Perhaps one of the best written and presented great stories in off-road motorsports, capturing the innovative thinking and non-stop commitment to a family's passion and the rewards they ultimately bring. A must read. UTV Class Spotlight - One of the fastest growing classes in SCORE in the Class 19 UTVs. This growth also involves all the new aftermarket companies that now supply the performance products that are needed for both competitive and performance recreational use. See these latest products along with behind the scene info from Brandon Schueler and how he and his Jagged X team are so successful. Legends – Look for both sides of any legend, which in this case is the Man and the Machine. See great insight from Off-Road Hall of Famer, Rod Hall, along with one of the coolest Stroppe Broncos ever built. You can check out the details as we brought this historical ICON into the studio to shoot all the details for you to check out how it was done in the beginning, minus a couple upgrades Enjoy the Issue.
