all conditions, altitudes, and temperatures. Aside from the added speed and power from the engine, the 2016 RZR XP Turbo EPS handles well with tuned FOX PodiumĀ® Internal Bypass Shocks, (3 inch at the rear, and 2.5 inch in front), with adjustable remote reservoirs and increased fluid capacity. The shocks feature five compression zones and three zones of rebound damping to provide a steady and smooth ride under harsh terrain or flat pavement. The RZR XP Turbo EPS is also outfitted with larger progressive rate coil over springs that can absorb small impacts while maintaining ground clearance, and can handle larger impacts in rough terrain. Combined with a 90-inch wheelbase and a 3-Link trailing arm rear suspension, the RZR XP Turbo EPS has 18 inches of rear travel and a 13.5 inches of ground clearance. The system provides better cornering traction, and with an exclusive front suspension geometry, it takes less steering effort to maneuver the UTV around obstacles. Much of the added responsiveness to the RZR XP Turbo EPS also comes from the 29-inch diameter Maxxis Bighorn tires that are mounted on 14-inch cast rims. Electronic power steering is a standard feature and provides an 18-foot turning radius. Combined with a new front swaybar and re-tuned rear swaybar, body roll is also dramatically decreased. Getting the RZR XP Turbo EPS to stop from its higher rate of speed, is made easier with new, triple piston front calipers, dual piston rear calipers, new stainless steel rotors and large 248mm ventilated discs on all four corners. The improved braking abilities and handling can give drivers and passengers a more secure and reliable experience. Add that Polaris also optimized driver positioning with new seat angles, and the improved driving control also comes with reduced fatigue. Knowing how accessories are a necessity for any side- by-side, Polaris also offers 146 accessories to customize each vehicle to the needs of the owner. SCORE racers will appreciate the fact that Polaris designed the chassis with integrated mounting points along the vehicle frame and includes pass-through areas for routing wires. This allows for accessories such as lights, rock sliders and bumpers to easily attached to the frame. With this next level of power and handling from the RZR XP Turbo EPS, there's no question why Polaris is the most popular and leading vehicle manufacturer in the SCORE Desert Racing Series. And with a huge following, Polaris remains one of SCORE's leading sponsors that will undoubtedly allow us to see the RZR XP Turbo EPS at the top of the class. SJ THE PROSTAR TURBO ENGINE MAKES 144 HORSEPOWER AND ADDS MORE THAN 45 PERCENT MORE TORQUE. 032 SCORE JOURNAL
