on models such as the RZR XP
1000; one of the top choices
used by a majority of the UTV
teams. "We have several SCORE
UTV race teams who provide
race feedback," says Donna
Beadle, Sr. External Relations
Specialist Polaris Industries.
"Racing is obviously very hard on
a car and understanding what
works and what doesn't under
those conditions gives us a better
understanding of durability. The
RZR XP 1000 has the ultimate
combination of power, suspen-
sion and agility. You have to have
all three working in tandem to
have a successful race vehicle."
SCORE's PRO Stock UTV Class
19 has allowed racers to be
competitive with these vehicles
that are increasing in perfor-
mance and ability. For racers
like Brandon Schueler, driver for
the Jagged X racing team and
current 2015 points leader, he
knows that the improvements
from manufacturers like Polaris,
combined with SCORE's rules for
this class, have made the vehi-
cles faster and safer. "I feel as
though the PRO Stock UTV Class
is a very obtainable class," says
Schueler. "It allows people to put
together a safe race car and live
out their dreams of racing with-
out having to necessarily break
the bank. With some minor mod-
ifications, the UTV's can be very
competitive."
