It was five full semesters before his athletic eligibility expires. He was one of 43 football players on Darrell Hazell's "A" Players list after the 2014 spring semester. To get on the list, players must have at least a 3.0 GPA. For the spring semester, the Boilermakers had a team GPA of 2.75, which helped raise the team's cumulative GPA to 2.87.
