The ability to manage resources, especially money.
Matt Whalen
Cheyenne Country Club
Cheyenne, Wyo.
A. The first one is your communication
skills. You need to be able to step outside
of your box and tell people how you
feel. Be honest. You've got to be able to
go to a board meeting and make them
understand exactly what you're talking
about. Secondly, financial skills—you
have to be able to do more with less.
Third, you need to be able to do different
things agronomically. There are a lot of
different things that can help you rather
than reaching for a single jug. Rather than
figuring out what the problem is you just
spray it. Find out what caused the problem
and cut out that input instead.
Rick Darby
Arizona National Golf Club
Tucson, Ariz.
A. Personnel management,
agronomics knowledge and
financial management.
