48 • RV PRo • September 2015 rv-pro.com Riverside Travel Trailer Riverside Travel Trailer returns to Open House Week this September after taking a hiatus last year, and Vice President of Sales Mark Gerber is particularly pleased with the loca- tion the RV maker was able to obtain near the Hall of Fame. "We should get some nice exposure being so close to the Hall," he says. Riverside expects to display six travel trailers for dealers, all of which are traditional stick-and-tin units. Riverside is particularly excited to debut the 24FB toy hauler, which will feature 10-feet, 6-inches of cargo space with the ramp door closed. The trailer has a dry weight of 6,020 pounds and GVWR of 10,000 pounds. The toy hauler will feature leaf springs mounted under the axles to lower the overall trailer floor height, which lowers the ramp angle for easier loading and facilitating lower ground clearance toys. The ramp door is rated for 2,000 pounds of rolling weight. Other product features include large cargo area windows for more light and ventilation, a 30,000 BTU furnace, dual run A/C ductwork, LED lights throughout, and steel wheel wells versus wood-covered galvanized or plastic wheel wells used on other products. Riverside expects to host dealers the evening of Monday, Sept. 21, and during the day on Sept. 22 and Sept. 23, but set show hours were still being finalized as of press time. Riverside Travel Trailer owner Kenneth Licklider drives a motorcycle into the RV maker's new 24FB toy hauler. R i ve rsi de RV , I n c . Home of the Retro
