"This past year, we introduced our new Avail tow bar. It's our top-of-the-line model and it was designed based on consumer feed- back and needs," Kietzmann says. "We have teams out there in the field that are talking to customers every single day and one of the core competencies that has made us suc- cessful throughout the years is the design of products for what customers are demanding. "It's been a very easy product to pro- mote," she adds. "It's longer, so it allows for easy maneuverability. It gives owners more room in between to hook up. The easy- release handles mean you no longer have to fight with it. Then, of course, there's the aesthetic appearance; it's a very neutral color that looks good with any towing system." A gooseneck hitch, the Quick Flip Ball, also recently debuted for the company's agricultural and truck accessory customers. It may sound ordinary, but the hitch is A Blue Ox employee assembles a tow bar. Tow bars were one of the first RV-related products the company began making, but the supplier has since expanded its towing offerings to include supplemental braking systems, weight distributing hitches, gooseneck hitches and chassis performance packages. Associate Delwin Kai builds an automatic roller mill roller, a grain-crushing roll that is a component for a grain roller mill used to make feed for livestock. Blue Ox got its start 80 years ago making agricultural equipment and still makes Ag products today.
