pressed teammates, even if Herman seemingly has a
knack for studying that leaves them jealous.
"This kid will read material once and he'll get it. He
definitely works for what he wants, but once he reads one
thing, he gets it like that," said Pulliam, snapping and
shaking his head. "Unlike most people — it might take
awhile for people to comprehend certain things — but
for Jimmy, it just comes naturally."
Herman's football IQ is high, too.
Players can pick up a playbook quickly, draw out plays
and concepts on a dry erase board, but once they're put
