ANDY MCMILLIN DROVE ROB MACCHACHREN'S #11 ROCKSTAR ENERGY FORD F-150 TO VICTORY AT THE 2014 SCORE IMPERIAL VALLEY 250. TEAMS PREPARE FOR THE RIGID INDUSTRIES SCORE IMPERIAL VALLEY 250 The Rigid Industries SCORE Imperial Valley 250 is the fourth race of the 2015 SCORE World Desert Championship and takes place in the city of El Centro, California. Scheduled for September 24th thru the 27th, this is the only U.S. race that is on 41,000 dedicated acres located immediately west of the Naval Air Facility El Centro and is approximately 17 miles west of El Centro off of Interstate 8 (I-8). This year, the SCORE Imperial Valley 250 proves to be an important one for several of the current points leaders in the 2015 SCORE Desert Racing Series. No one knows this more than the RPM Racing team of Clyde Stacy, who can possibly wrap up a Unlimited Trophy Truck and a Sportsman Buggy championship for the team at this race. The team has entered six vehicles, one in Sportsman Unlimited Truck, one in Sportsman Buggy, and four in the Unlimited Trophy Truck Class. The team consists of Justin Matney, who is returning for the first time since he had back surgery in December of 2014, and after winning the SCORE Unlimited Class 1 point championship that season, as well as the Imperial Valley 250. Matney will drive the #4 RPM Racing Unlimited Trophy Truck, while Stacy will be the driver of record in the #18 RPM Chevy Silverado, with Juan C. Lopez as the second driver. The current season SCORE overall and SCORE Unlimited Trophy Truck points leader Carlos 'Apdaly' Lopez will drive the #5 RPM Racing Chevy Rally Truck. The fourth RPM Racing SCORE Trophy Truck, the #17 RPM Racing Chevy Silverado, will be driven by Eduardo Laguna. Laguna is currently fourth in the SCORE Unlimited Trophy Truck season points. Travis Fletcher, 30, of Abingdon, Virginia, will race for RPM Racing in the Sportsman Buggy class in the #1515 Chevy-powered open- wheel desert race car. Fletcher won this race last year and is currently leading the points in his class with two race wins so far this season. Rounding out the RPM team is Jim Bunn, 67, of Bristol, Virginia, who will race in the Sportsman Unlimited Truck class in the RPM #1444 Mason-Chevy. Last year's overall Imperial Valley race winner was San Diego's Andy McMillin who was a pinch-hitter for driver of record Rob MacCachren of Las Vegas in the #11 Rockstar Energy MacCachren 08 SCORE JOURNAL RIGID INDUSTRIES SCORE IMPERIAL VALLEY 250
