current class strong with Camden
teammates Brad Hawkins Jr. and Ron
Johnson.
That Jersey‑to‑Ann Arbor pipe‑
line added another big piece Aug. 27
when Egg Harbor City Cedar Creek
High four‑star wide receiver Ahmir
Mitchell joined the fold. Rivals.com
rates the 6‑3, 203‑pounder as the
third‑best player in the state, plus
the No. 19 wideout and No. 102 over‑
all prospect nationally. He is U‑M's
highest‑ranked pledge from the state
since Peppers, who was the top over‑
all New Jerseyan and No. 3 overall
prospect nationally in the 2014 class.
