104 The Shop November 2015 104 The Shop November 2015 Universal Technical Institute (UTI) is proud to be a part of Ford's 2015 SEMA Show vehicle showcase with the customized 2015 UTI/Tjin Edition Ford F-150. Teaming up with award-winning designer Neil Tjin and auto-education partner/sponsor Pennzoil, UTI's F-150 will be a monster on the pavement. Participants include: Unique Fabrications, Wheel Ware- house, L&R Autobody, Magnaflow, Baer Brakes, Axalta Paints, Katzkin, FOX, ADV.1, Toyo Tires and Bushwacker. UTI will unveil the F-150 at SEMA as the company's 2016 sweepstakes vehicle that will be offered to the public. Entries begin Nov. 2 and entry forms can be found at www.win- thatford.com. Tim Grachen and Orange County Trucks are standing tall with the Silver Bullet project truck, a 2008 Toyota Tundra 5.7-liter CrewMax short bed converted to a 2014 exterior. "The Silver Bullet build came together two years ago when I was approached by Go Rhino Products," he recalls. "After attending my first SEMA Show in 2013, it became a goal of mine to make it back to the show, but in a bigger and better way." Participants include: Vision X Lighting, Pro Eagle Products, Gibson Performance Exhaust, Rugged Ridge, Roadwire, R1 Concepts, Rhino Linings, FOX Suspension, General Tire, Fastway Trailer Products, RK Sport, VLEDS.com, Camburg Engineering, McNeil Racing, Auburn Gear, Scrubblade, ODYSSEY, KICKER, Spyder Auto, Royalty Core, Mac's Custom Tie Downs, Taco Tunes, BMF Wheels, N-Fab, 3M Graphics, DUB LFTD &VLD, UnderCover, Rosen Electronics, S&B Filters, BOLT Locks, Fatal Clothing and Nitro Gear. 2008/'14 Toyota Tundra Close Fabrications in Las Vegas is readying the 1966 Chevy Stepside C10 pickup project Heaven Bound for the fall show circuit. The truck, which has already won Goodguys awards, was once used as a farm truck. Yancey Taylor has owned the truck since he was 15 years old, and after heading off to the Marine Corps, settled down in Vegas and began an eight-year, frame- off restoration with friends. Initial paint, body and interior work was completed at Divine One Customs and engine work at Johnny D's Auto. After being out on the show circuit, the truck is now with Close Fabri- cations for additional fabrication and paint touches to take it to the next level. The pickup is powered by a small- block Chevy 350 bored 60-over with GM Vortec heads. Other engine upgrades include: Isky Racing Cams cam; MAHLE pistons and rings; Edel- brock high-rise intake; Billet Special- ties billet valve covers, air cleaner and "polished" front running system; 650 Demon Carburetor with custom chrome linkage; Hedman Hedders; Be Cool aluminum radiator; GM 700R4 transmission; and Flowmaster exhaust.
